This combo package includes a 1.5-to-2-hour kayaking trip (all equipment provided) and a 1-hour-45-minute boutique small boat cruise out to the Tasman Sea.

The day starts at Rosco’s Base, located at Deepwater Basin at Milford Sound. You can park your car here for the duration of the tour. The Rosco’s team will provide all equipment needed for the experience and a full safety briefing before setting out.

Kayaking at Milford Sound is an unforgettable experience. Not many boats are about at that time of the day, adding to the serene atmosphere. Ideal for first-time paddlers and pros alike, this trip gets up close and personal with the amazing features of the fiord.

After a short break, check in at the Cruise Milford counter in the Milford Sound Visitor Terminal for your boutique small boat cruise. Passenger numbers are limited to offer an enhanced viewing experience.

The cruise takes you past giant rock faces rising hundreds of meters out of the sea and waterfalls cascading from an ancient rainforest high in the mountains out to the Tasman Sea. We introduce you to our local wildlife, like the New Zealand fur seal, dolphins and the rare Fiordland crested penguin.
